Perfect for a couple seeking charm
The best thing about this place is the view and location. On a beautiful spot on the lagoon and nice access to swimming. You really can’t beat that! Plus, there’s a decent restaurant downstairs. I did enjoy a bonfire by the lagoon with my partner. The sunset? Unforgettable, feels like you’re in a postcard.
But let’s be real, it wasn’t inexpensive but still acceptable.

great views but needs some updates
The view of the lagoon is STUNNING! ! Sitting by the water's edge was a highlight. The pool is very clean and provided a refreshing escape from the heat. Also, the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The hotel has not aged well and is showing signs of wear.

Request a fan room during cooler months to enjoy fresh air while minimizing disturbance from outside noise.

missingWrote a review on Jun 04limited amenities
Unfortunately, the accommodations need serious upgrades. The mattresses feel old and uncomfortable, while the limited lounge chairs by the pool don’t allow for much relaxation. With only one outlet in the room and a lack of basic amenities like hand soap, the overall experience felt lacking. Additionally, the private beach is closed, leaving little choice for lounging by the water apart from laying towels on the grass.

It was just a great fit for a mini-break over the weekend in Bacalar with high value for money. The views of the lagoon were amazing. I loved watching the sunrise right from my room. Make sure to bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise at night.
